J. Kipling "Kip" Johansen, LUTCF
Since 1997, family households and businesses have chosen to work with Kip because he communicates openly about the things most important to them, while encouraging his clients to pursue their financial goals. To aid his clients in the process of putting together sound financial strategies, he shares creative solutions with them, often acting as a financial architect, to help them address their wealth management needs in relation to minimizing taxes, maximizing income, transferring estates, and preserving capital. In an often-times complex world of regulations and industry jargon, Kip provides clients with the information they need to make well-informed decisions, breaking down complex strategies into simple, easy-to-understand terms.
Kip is a long-standing member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He is also a graduate of Bethel College, in St. Paul, MN, and has earned the designation of Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) from The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Kip holds securities registrations through LPL Financial of Series 7, 6, 63, 62, 65, and 22, offering fully independent, fee-based advisory services to best serve the needs of his clients.
Kip and his wife, Anne, have been married since 1993, and have two boys. Away from the office, he enjoys coaching his son’s basketball team, serving at his local church and teaching with Lamplighters International, and he appreciates any opportunity he has to get out on the golf course.
