“I have always put my client’s needs and best interests above everything else.”
That’s the heart of Jim Bortolussi’s practice, and a true reflection of his lifelong Midwestern values.
Raised in a Richfield, MN family of seven, he fondly recalls a great family life and the influence of his “father’s hard work ethic, and mother’s compassion for people.” This combination of practical and personal continues in Jim’s work, where he loves the challenge of planning for each client’s unique goals and lifelong security.
A graduate of Benilde High School and St. Thomas University (B.A., Accounting), Jim has devoted his career to all aspects of finance. His well-rounded working background includes accounting, sales, recruiting, and more than a decade of financial advisory, giving him a uniquely comprehensive view of the financial landscape.
Naturally, family is also a priority for Jim and his wife Olga. The couple (and loyal dog Buddy) recently welcomed a new baby daughter to their Brooklyn Park home.
Jim’s leisure time – what little there is with a newborn – is devoted to business books and historical novels, the Minnesota Vikings, college football, and high school hockey.
