I’ve always wanted to help individuals with creating plans that help give them focus, direction, and peace of mind.

Tedd speaks highly of the wonderful community he experienced growing up in Bloomington, Minnesota and remains closely connected with a lot of the friends he made there. He went on to attend St. Cloud State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After graduating, he gained experience working in banking, brokerage, and the wholesale side of the financial services industry.

From the beginning of his career, Tedd knew he ultimately preferred to work directly with clients and help them with their financial life goals, which propelled him to become a Financial Advisor. “I’ve always wanted to help individuals with creating plans that help give them focus, direction, and reassurance,” he says. Tedd was part of the Vantage Point team from the beginning, and brings extensive experience with investment portfolio design, estate planning, and retirement income planning.

He continues to practice his passion for helping people. In addition to working with individual clients, Tedd also enjoys leading workshops for the greater public to help more people understand the importance of planning. Tedd shares that he remains energized in his role in large part because  “I value our ability to be independent and bring value and tools to everyday families.”

Tedd and his wife Sarah live in Lakeville with their three children, Emily, Alex, and Will. Tedd and Sarah spend a lot of time supporting their kids in their many sports and activities, and also enjoy spending time with nearby family. Tedd continues to serve his community in many ways, including as a volunteer football and basketball coach. In their spare time, Tedd and his family also like to try new restaurants and explore different parts of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
